the label of sensory processing disorder/sensory integration was always on my mind with abbie. i knew something was just not right, especially when the teachers brought it to our attention in kindergarten. adhd just seemed like an easier label to wrap my head around i guess.
part of me couldn't believe i was dealing with a condition i learned so much in college...my speech and language degree certainly has come in handy during this whole experience.
so you can imagine my excitement over finding this article linked on facebook from 100daysofrealfood.
well isn't this just right down our wheelhouse?
